Abstract: This technical note aims to present the main functionalities of the economiccomplexity package, used in the R software environment. The document describes an application routine within the program, including data organization procedures and an explanation of the main commands required to calculate the Economic Complexity Index (ECI) and the Product Complexity Index (PCI).
