Abstract: This article analyses socio-economic formations as the systems of marine transportations, in which co-operation of structural subdivisions (ports with all of their links) form a single unit realizing the common development purpose of the transport industry. It is well-proven that exactly system-structural approach of research the difficult transport systems allows to offer the challenge of development the transport industry.
