Production Processes And Quality Criteria Of Statistical Information

Abstract: The issue of typification the statistical information production processes, determination of their output products and quality criteria of these products are considered in the article. In. particular, seven types of statistical information production processes are distinguished as sample survey and other kinds of unexhaustive survey, census, statistical process using administrative data or data from other non-statistical resources, statistical process combining data from different resources, indexes construction process, statistical compilation, statistical modelling and forecasting. In addition, the statistical information quality criteria and conflicts between them are investigated.
