Abstract: The article analyzes the formation and development of leasing market in Azerbaijan. It is given the institutional framework of leasing activity of the country. It is proposed the activities indicators of leasing companies. The basic schemes, which operate leasing companies and their funding sources, are offered. The reasons constraining the leasing development in Azerbaijan are shown and the ways to increase its effectiveness are proposed.
