Abstract: Actual problems of railway reform in Ukraine are investigated. The state of inventory park of freight cars and the basic problems of Ukrainian wagon stay abroad is analyzed. It is investigated the basic stages of transformation Ukrzaliznytsya in public joint stock company and create a state corporation (DBP). The main problems encountered when creating a state corporation and their solutions are examined.
