Abstract: The problem of poverty in Ukraine is considered in the context of the European Platform against Poverty. The article investigates criteria and indicators of poverty in Ukraine. It is researched the correlation between salary and poverty. The article defines the priority aims for the social policy in Ukraine in order to overcome the poverty.
