Abstract: The article deals with the methodological approaches to the assessment of environmental and economic efficiency of the agrarian nature management in Ukraine. We define the level of nature intensity of agricultural production by the regions of Ukraine for the period of 2002-2008 years. The expediency of increasing the area of arable lands is grounded.
