Abstract: The article substantiates the expediency of the development priorities detailing of dairy subsectors of separate regions. The basic trends of milk production by agricultural enterprises and private farms in the Volyn’ region over the period from 1990 to 2011 are analysed. A strategic development priorities of dairy subsectors of different climatic zones and areas close to highly-urbanized centres of this the region are offered.
