Abstract: The current trends of quantitative and structural changes of catering trade' enterprises in Ukraine are identified and the reasons that led to their formation. The changes in short-term, medium-term and long-term stability of various-sized catering trade' enterprises in Ukraine before and during economic crisis and after the first signs of economic stabilization are determined and analyzed. The article predicts the catering trade' enterprises and units development in Ukraine during future time periods and outlines the trends which are to be considered in the process of generating strategies for them.
