Abstract: In the article it is proved that dairy industry takes one of the first places in the structure of food industry of Ukraine and it is the leading branch in solving the food problem of the country. It is grounded the basic directions of implementation of European standards for the sake of rising the competitiveness of national products and it is composed the proposals as for the management by quality at the enterprises of dairy industry in Ukraine.
