Abstract: It has been established that multicomponent and multifunctional nature of floristic and faunal resources requires the formation of modern theoretical and methodological instruments for ecological and economic assessment of forests biodiversity. Such instruments should be based on anthropocentric, biocentric, tectological and cognitive approaches.
