'Address' Models of Product Differentiation: A Survey
Claire Morris ()
Studies in Economics from School of Economics, University of Kent
Abstract:
This paper provides a survey of the 'address' literature on product differentiation. Rather than considering welfare issues, which are well treated elsewhere, this survey examines issues which have received relatively little attention in the literature, such as the choice of modelling approach, the relationship between 'geographic' and 'characteristics' space and the specification of transport costs.
