Abstract:
This paper briefly discusses the role of the consumer/citizen in regard to the generation of pollution through consumption, as well as the consumer's role in rectifying this situation by being prepared to pay his share of the price for pollution control, by changing certain habits that contribute to the pollution of the environment, and by becoming active in programs or associations for the protection of the environment.
