Abstract:
The first part of the study deals with the elements that are likely to increase significantly the market share of public transport to the disadvantage of private cars, so much within the framework of western cities as more especially in the Brussels-Capital Region. Secondly we try to shaw how to favour public transport an different scales. In this context we shall present a programme designed for calculating travel time in Brussels' public transport as well as the connected results.
