Abstract: The 2002 Report provides an analysis of poverty, development and globalization in LDCs. Using new evidence on poverty trends, the report examines the structural factors underlying persistent poverty and evaluates national and international policies needed to achieve sustained poverty reduction and inclusive economic growth.
