Abstract:
SDG Target 9.C calls for a significant increase in access to information and communications technology (ICT) and universal and affordable access to the Internet in least developed countries by 2020. Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicator 9.c.1 sets the SDG progress evaluation benchmark as the “proportion of population covered by a mobile network, by technology”.
