Abstract:
The theoretical and methodological approaches to understanding of the concept, content and essence of regional development are researched in the article. It is shown that nowadays regions are new spaces for building of the policy as systems of action and also are independent members of the global order. The role of regional development institutions regulation activity, including authorities is defined. The methodological principles of regional development management are improved.
