Abstract: The article determines components of the complex mechanism of the state policy of regional development. It was specified that some of them are the first ones to react to threats and eliminate them organizational, institutional, informational, communicative and social components. This analysis of nature of said elements allowed the systemic approach to the research of methods and resources of the state regional policy from the safety perspective.
