Abstract:
The article presents results of research on realization of Operational programs and spending of financial resource and more particularly grants in Bulgarian NUTS II planning regions. The relationship between the expenditures and economic state of each region presented by indicators GDP (per capita) and economic growth rate is explored. The research question is if the funds allocation on regional principle is a precondition for overcoming of regional disparities or leads to their deepening.
