Abstract:
The purpose of the paper is to present the policies of the governments of the Republic of Bulgaria for the establishment, functioning and development of the administration of the executive power during the first programming period of membership in the European Union from 2007 to 2013. Analysis of strategic documents and normative documents the article reveals that the civil service model introduced in the pre-accession period in 1998 has not been changed, which is an indicator of the sustainable development of the administration.
