Abstract: The manuscript provides a theoretical overview of the development of mediation as an indispensable part of the negotiation toolkit in the resolution of military conflicts. The main concepts and goals of military mediation are analyzed. The main trends in the use of mediation in military conflicts in the third decade of the XXI century are outlined.
