Abstract:
The article deals with the issues of redevelopment of industrial areas of the megalopolis on the example of the "gray belt" of St. Petersburg. The historical and problematic aspects of the formation of the "gray belt" of St. Petersburg are presented and the main barriers preventing the renovation of these territories are identified.
