Abstract:
The report examines the process of depopulation in the rural areas of Bulgaria, which affects directly the real estate market and investments in the construction sector. The role of the state is fundamental for preventive measures in this aspect. The work presents information about the national and international programmes implemented in the country in the last fifty years and presentation of guidelines for its possible solution.
