Abstract:
We are witnessing a rapidly changing and dynamic new century. In it, new technologies gradually, but persistently, slightly shift people away from their vital positions in the workplace. New positions and new professions, new requirements and, above all, new skills and competences are needed for the development of companies in each sector. The agrarian business is no exception to this current trend. Indeed, in Japan, Western Europe, and the USA, there are already companies that have completely automated their work. Using robotic software, these companies produce crops using automation from the moment of sowing to the moment of harvesting on the basis of automated systems, with the application of artificial intelligence under the strict control of one person. This fact raises the question of the proper selection, training, and motivation of staff in the agricultural sector. Clearly, hired people need to be much more skilled and understand software, sensors and digital management. In short, companies must be prepared for the creation of precision agriculture based on new technologies. Therefore, the purpose of this report is to analyze the necessary changes that must be made to select, train and motivate staff in a modern agricultural company, subject to robotics and automation of part of the work processes. Different methods of analysis were used to achieve this goal, based on induction, deduction, retrospection, and others, and the author's opinion on the subject is shared.
