SUSTAINABLE HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES

Pavlina Ivanova

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT", 2019, issue 1, 95-107

Abstract: The current particularly dynamic business environment requires new techniques to gain competitive advantage. The human resources, which are one of the most valuable assets of organizations, together with other resources, should be managed in a way that provides both long-term economic benefits and leads to increased employee satisfaction and engagement. A new approach to people management that sets broader goals for human resource management and points to the need to avoid negative impacts on them is sustainable human resources management. The purpose of this report is to present that combination of people management practices that contribute to enhancing sustainability, leading to the improved long-term development of companies.
