Abstract:
In this paper we present a brief overview of the local and expat workforce present in the United Arab Emirates. In the overview, we focus on the key job-related aspects of the high levelof internationalisation and multiculturalism present in the country, the terms and conditions of employment, nationality and gender preferences, and differences in compensation, with a few detailsabout the Emiratisationcampaignand support for women in business.
