Ralitza Pandurska ()

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT", 2020, issue 1, 173-179

Abstract: The development of information and communication technologies in the modern global world is becoming more and more accelerating and irreversible and one of the reasons of this evolution is the process of digitalization. Industry 4.0 has a huge potential for the countries development and could contribute to increasing their competitiveness. At the same time it will make possible countries that are able to restructure their economies faster to outrun those that are not enough prepared for this process. A significant proportion of workers will be employed in occupations that are currently unknown or do not yet exist, and this puts a serious challenge to the education system in the countries, which has to prepare staff for occupations that do not yet exist.
