LABOR RELATIONS IN THE NEW REALITY

Abstract: The beginning of the new decade has posed many challenges to business -technology development, demographics, economic crises, and the current 2020 has faced the world with a whole new reality and situation requiring new approaches to people management. The Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing state of emergency have undoubtedlyaffected businesses, with employers and employees having to adapt to the changing economic environment. The legislation was to meet the new conditions by providing tools and legal opportunities to secure and regulate laborrelations. The purpose of this report is to review new aspects of the employment relationship during the state of emergency and the ensuing epidemiological situation, and to discuss the legal possibilities and related situations.
