Ivanka Bankova and Vasil Pavlov

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT", 2020, issue 1, 223-230

Abstract: Conflicts have their own manifestations in organizational systems, which assigns their special place in the structural asymmetry. In the conditions of constant changes, development of knowledge, technologies and innovations, new challenges of conflict nature arise, caused by generational differences. Today, the division and contradictions between the generations have negative effects on the productivity of organizations, the motivation and retention of employees much more than in the past, as a result of which it is not uncommon to reach the maximum allowable level of tension and conflict. Managers face the complex task of knowing the generational differences, which is an essential factor in the successful management of conflicts in organizations.
