Abstract: Digitalization is used in different context including manufacturing, and service organizations, it is important to focus on higher education institutes to explore issues related to the subject. The objective of the study is to explore the role of human resources management in digital transformation of Egyptian universities focusing on South Valley University (SUV) as a case study based on qualitative method. Data collection is based on meetings with key university’s principals and data published on the website of SVU. A suggested model of SVU digital transformation and the role of HRM is discussed based on the status of SVU. Future research is suggested to overcome the limitations of the study.
