Abstract: COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the challenges and problems in the countries’ health systems around the world. The aim of the study is to examine the opinion of the Bulgarian health professionals about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health system and the medical institutions. In particular, the share of the medical specialists who intend to migrate and their demographic characteristics have been studied. A national online survey was conducted in May-June 2022. A total number of 447 health professionals had completed the questionnaire and were included in the analysis.
