Abstract: The concept of sustainable development is a problem that researchers have been dealing with since the beginning of the 1990s. Sustainable development is examined in three dimensions - economic, social and environmental. These dimensions are interrelated. Socio-economic development is an invariable part of the quest for sustainable economic growth and providing better workplaces, which is also the focus of the Lisbon Strategy. Achieving these main goals requires a high level of knowledge and investment in innovation and human capital. The purpose of this report is to reveal the interrelationship between innovation and human resource creativity as a factor of innovation. The main research methods used in the development are content analysis, method of analysis and synthesis, intuitive and systematic approach.
