Abstract: The questions, addressed to social responsibility are of growing importance and priority today. Among the leading prerequisites for this are globalization, the role of knowledge, information, cultural dialogue, the growing importance of social interaction factors in management, etc. Due to the above considerations, the folowing paper presents a study of current, debatable issues regarding the modern management concept, named "social responsibility" in the case of the logistics business. Topics for the categorical definition of social responsibility are presented, as well as connected statements are proved, through content analysis, about some aspects of its application.
