Abstract:
The management of human resources in companies and specifically the processes of selection and hiring of personnel are directly affected by the new opportunities for optimization with the help of information technologies. The paper aims to highlight the role of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) in the digitization of company processes. The impact of ATS on improving the effectiveness of human resource management as a whole has been investigated by identifying the areas in which their positive influence can be found. In addition, the role of ATS in the formation of key performance indicators with which to evaluate recruitment and selection activities is also considered. Performance metrics offered by market leading ATSs are derived.
