Abstract: In the present article, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Higher School Of Commerce in Varna there is revealed the role of the research work of the lecturers for the development of industry and its branches, subbranches and indu strial enterprises, as well as the role of the higher school for the training of highly - qualified specialists for the industry and the entire socio - economic life of the country.
