Abstract: The European cosmetics industry has witnessed substantial growth and transformation, driven by changing consumer behaviors, technological advancements and increasing demand for sustainable products. The purpose of this paper is to provide a detailed analysis of the economic performance and market trends in the European cosmetics industry in 2024.It provides a descriptive analysis of the market size, growth trends, consumer preferences, and the industry's economic contribution to the European economy. Key findings reveal a robust market performance, with notable growth in key segments such as skincare and haircare, alongside a growing emphasis on eco-friendly and ethically produced products. Despite this growth, the industry faces challenges related to market saturation, regulatory frameworks, and competition. The paper concludes with recommendations for companies to leverage opportunities in emerging markets, digital platforms, and sustainable practices, while also highlighting the role of policymakers in supporting industry innovation. This research provides valuable insights for stakeholders in the cosmetics sector and contributes to a deeper understanding of the evolving dynamics within this influential market.
