Green innovations to power the cruise industry

Abstract: The publication is focused on the cruise industry, which being part of the global shipping sector is highly influenced by green transition and green innovations. Cruise travel is more often related to tourism business, which in turn aims to create responsible practices, based on sustainability and innovation. The publication goal is to analyze objective transformations that take place in the cruising business and to evaluate their overall impact on the nature, shipping companies and intermediaries, and their customers - the travellers. By studying the innovative technologies and practices implemented by the companies, the author aims to reveal how these types of advancements collaborate with the green transformation strategies and support sustainable future of cruising.
