Abstract: The fourth industrial revolution represents a challenge for most companies in terms of creating new business models that will be more flexible, adaptable and dynamic. This is why business process management has become an area of highest priority for most companies in recent years. Business process management can lead to business success by applying process orientation. Thousands of companies have adopted a process meaning. Business process-oriented companies outperform competitors in terms of financial and non-financial performance. Despite the topicality of the issue of process orientation, there is a lack of research on its presence in companies in the Republic of Serbia. The subject of this paper is the research of process orientation through the analysis of the key factors of Business Process Management and their impact on the profitability of the company.
