Abstract: The goals of this research were to identify and describe the HTM sector in Warsaw and to indicate which part had the highest market potential. The article presents the results of a multidimensional and multi-criteria classification analysis. The segmentation analysis performed made it possible to extract the most distinguished subgroups of the HT population. Particular attention was paid to the HTM exporters (HTME) group, which was identified as the most promising group of companies in the HT sector. The description of the HTME subgroup paves the way for further research with the criteria of differentiating and strengthening internal development in the HT population.
