Electronic voting system using Blockchain technology

Nicolae-Marian Buliga

International Journal of Advanced Statistics and IT&C for Economics and Life Sciences, 2024, vol. 14, issue 1, 205-211

Abstract: This paper presents an application for a voting system that uses blockchain technology. As is known, blockchain technology has a wide range of applications. What makes it suitable for a voting system is that it can prevent fraud. Another advantage of using blockchain technology for a voting system is that it offers unlimited system availability: the system’s operation is not affected by certain factors, such as power outages, updates or network connection.
