Abstract:
This study explores the impact of the monetary policy of the National Bank of Romania, with its instruments and objectives during the Covid-19 pandemic, on the banks lending in Romania, considering the data provided by the NBR for the last 6 years. Overall, our findings confirm that the increasing bank lending channel for global monetary policy was active during the pandemic crisis.
