Keiji Ohmori

Applied Stochastic Models and Data Analysis, 1992, vol. 8, issue 3, 229-243

Abstract: Two major sophisticated services are needed by Japanese financial institutions. They are fund management and the development of new financial products. These are needed because of the increase of fund to be managed and deregulation. This paper will first, explain the current situation in Japanese financial institutions and, second, introduce the use of numerically intensive computing to provide these new services.
