Abstract:
Given a system of the structure assumed, or which has been transformed into the structure assumed, we present a model which generates alternative sets of protection levels for equipment classes to satisfy specified subsystem protection levels. The calculation of alternatives is algorithmic or canonical once the system has been represented by the model. Procedures are also given for generating further alternatives from those computed.
