Abstract: Since 2009, studies on geoengineering have been increasing in the international community with a rapid development momentum. Various research projects and research findings continue to emerge, which deserves special attention. By reviewing the latest literatures, conference speeches and other related source of information, this paper analyzes major contentious issues, summarizes the latest research trends and gives further insight into China’s geoengineering research.
