Abstract:
As a result of fierce competition, companies are striving for internal efficiency in all their functions and operations. Different theoretical perspectives for management exist, and there are always new expectations and requirements such as in the management of production ramp-up. The purpose of this paper is to present a project model to enhance process planning and production ramp-up in project management. The case project is in the wire harness industry. The paper illustrates practices for project management based on relevant literature.
