Abstract:
The new industrial age, shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, machine learning, and automation, will profoundly alter industries and society worldwide in terms of intelligentization. This process involves adopting new-emerging technologies for facilitating intelligent change, as an essential competitiveness factor, in organizations. Despite their promising advancements, these technologies challenge societal norms. Adapting to this shift is vital for individuals and organizations in order to stay competitive. The integration of human intelligence and AI presents unique organizational challenges, highlighting the need for the identification of suitable platforms. In this study, the influential factors of the successful implementation of intelligentization are defined as “smart ecosystem†. This ecosystem classifies all factors into internal and external categories and emphasizes that both are of the same importance in accepting and adopting smart technologies in organizations, both of which are discussed in detail. This research work, which is based on qualitative methodology, has been structured in the following sections: introduction, literature review, research methodology, findings, discussion and conclusions, study limitations, and recommendations for future studies.
