Abstract: Tackling multi-product firms is based on the following approach:Apply the single-product firm approach to each product in the firm’s portfolio.Each of these products is likely to exhibit different levels of maturity.Aggregate the impact of the different products in order to build an integrated picture of the overall impact on the firm.This aggregated impact needs to cover the different external, internal and composite vectors.Firms need to understand the impact of integrating the products on the overall strategic direction and execution capacity of the firm.We group these impacts into two broad variables:The overall strategic impact, based on aggregating all the vectors.The financial impact, using the usual financial measures for the performance of a firm…
