Chapter 13 in Knowledge Management and Leadership in the AI Era:Harnessing Technology for Innovative Organizations, 2026, pp 275-303 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: This chapter explores how wisdom and leadership influence the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) within organizations. The authors introduce collaborative intelligence as a framework that blends human judgment with AI capabilities to foster trust, ethical decision-making, and a shared purpose. Drawing on research, case studies, and emerging workplace trends, we examine how leaders can foster motivation, cultivate ethical behaviors, and guide human–AI partnerships. Leadership competencies such as adaptability, empathy, and discernment are emphasized as essential for navigating complexity. The chapter concludes by advocating for wise, human-centered leadership that ensures AI advances organizational goals without compromising ethical responsibility.
