Abstract: In an era shaped by systemic crises – climate change, inequality, technological disruption, and geopolitical tensions – the call for a new leadership paradigm is undeniable. This chapter explores how the convergence of Inner Development Goals (IDGs), artificial intelligence (AI), and regenerative leadership models can empower individuals, organizations, and ecosystems to navigate complexity toward thriving and sustainable futures. It introduces the concept of the “digital mirror,” an AI-enabled system designed not merely to automate tasks but to cultivate reflective, conscious, and regenerative leadership. Unlike conventional AI agents, a digital mirror operates as a cognitive infrastructure for transformation, enabling users to engage in self-reflection, ethical inquiry, and conscious decision-making aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Grounded in the IDGs framework and operationalized through the InEx Project, a Brazilian impact-driven initiative, this solution integrates a curated body of knowledge (BoK), AI ethics, and human-centered design. Importantly, the InEx Project adopts a hybrid AI development strategy. The roadmap begins with general-purpose large language models (LLMs) for rapid prototyping and functional validation, but this represents a transitional stage. The core trajectory aims to create a specialist LLM – purpose-built and ethically aligned – that embodies the role of a digital mirror: capable of reflecting, provoking, and accompanying users in processes of self-discovery, conscious leadership, and regenerative decision-making. By bridging inner development, regenerative leadership, and responsible AI, the InEx Project offers more than a technological tool; it proposes a new socio-technical paradigm where inner transformation becomes strategic infrastructure for sustainable, equitable, and regenerative futures.
