Abstract:
The old distribution structure was based on a pipeline — linear, that is, a process from manufacturer, via various links such as wholesaler, distributors, dealers, agents and shops, to the customer. Each link had to contribute to the process and had their own value. This distribution model was a sales-oriented model in which the physical articles successively moved along to the next link in the chain.
